The Newcastle Tomato Festival believes in environmental sustainability and a world where every culture, their food and their values are honoured. We aim to achieve this through the creation of a joyful, high energy, high-quality, food-focussed event showcasing multicultural food, culture, local fresh produce and talent!
If you’re interested in becoming a stallholder and you offer products which are in alignment with our vision, we would love to hear from you!

In becoming a stallholder at the Newcastle Tomato Festival you are agreeing to keeping the environment a joyful, vibrant, peaceful, happy place and to respect others at all times.

When is the Newcastle Tomato Festival?

Sunday 26th February 2017 between 10am and 4pm. Stallholders are expected to be set up and ready to trade between 9.50am-3.50pm.

What time do I need to be there?
-
All stalls will be given individual set up and pack up times to allow for the traffic flow of getting vehicles in and out safely of The Carriageworks. Bump In & Out information will be emailed to confirmed stallholders the Wednesday 24th February.

How much are site fees?

Food Stall - Regular site $160 (3m x 3m)

Food Stall - Large site $250 (3m x 6m)

Fresh Produce $80 (3m x 3m)

I have a food stall. Is there anything special I need to know?

Yes. Any person selling food onsite will need to have all relevant Food Authorities and council permits as required under state and local laws. Please contact the NSW Food Authority and Newcastle City Council for full requirements on obtaining any relevant Temporary Food Permits for the area.

Do you hire equipment?

No, all stallholders need to bring any equipment with them that they require.

Newcastle Tomato Festival is an environmentally conscious event. How may this affect me?

We are committed to creating an environmentally sustainable event.
-
We ask all stallholders to provide environmentally friendly packaging alternatives. The use of plastic bags, styrofoam, polystyrene, plastic cutlery as well as any other form of non-biodegradable packaging is being phased out as we become more environmentally conscious. Compostable packaging is encouraged.
